A Little About Me
Let me introduce myself: the face of The Period Pioneer. My name is Colleen Wacht and I'm a mom of 2 neurodiverse kids aged 12 & 10. I love working with all kids & empowering them to be the best version of themselves. One of the best ways to empower kids is giving them the knowledge, a safe space to ask questions & the tools needed to navigate life with a period. I started this journey because I realized we still aren't educating kids about their periods in a meaningful way.

Help Empower Young Minds with Essential Period Education My name is Colleen, and as a parent of an incredible 12-year-old on the autism spectrum and a spirited 10-year-old with ADHD, I've witnessed firsthand the unique challenges that kids with sensory struggles face. Managing periods is a universal journey that can be particularly challenging for younger individuals and their parents — especially within our community. What started as a Girl Scout project making Blossom Bags
